Donated by Sheikha Rawda Al Maktoum Al Maktoum Foundation Distributes 50 Laptops to Students of Bilal bin Rabah Center

The Al Maktoum Foundation distributed 50 laptops as part of a generous donation from Sheikha Rawda bint Ahmad bin Juma Al Maktoum, wife of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and the UAE Minister of Finance. The students of the Bilal bin Rabah Center for Memorization of the Holy Quran received the laptops in a huge celebration event.

Mohammed Obaid bin Ghannam, Secretary General of the Al Maktoum Foundation, said that this generous initiative was part of the campaign “Education Without Interruption.” The campaign is intended to support students, both children and youths, belonging to needy families, to buy computers or tablets to enable them to join their peers, safely, via distance learning from their homes.

Bin Ghannam added: “This spirit of cooperation reflects the will and determination to overcome challenges, obstacles, crises, and epidemics. Improving education and making it available to all, especially in less developed societies, is a lofty goal that the world should realize so that to achieve development and prosperity for future generations.
